A Day Of Learning
Thursday was a day of learning in a couple of ways. A few weeks ago I had booked on a course at the Digital Garage in Leeds city centre in hope of learning to understand google a little more than I do now. The thing is I really don’t like driving in Leeds city centre (it petrifies me) I guess it’s one of those things it’s easy when you know how. I would be so reliant on my sat nav and I know from experience she runs a little slow in the city and tells me to turn left or right just as I past the junction…. Then repeatedly tells me to turn around when possible Aghhhh! So knowing it was going to be a hot day and the city drivers would be even less forgiving than usual and then where would I park? I was slowly talking myself out of going…. ‘Can you tell’?
Then I stopped and breathed was I going to let this fear stop me from what I wanted to do? NO I would brave it, as soon as I decided that I would feel the fear and do it anyway, I had a light bulb moment Why don’t I catch the train from Skipton and walk! Times of the trains checked and a walking map printed I was ready to embrace my day in Leeds. Infact the hardest part of the day was parking at Skipton train …. no spaces luckily I made it with seconds to spare. So fear nearly stopped my Google learning day but it didn’t. What I also learnt is it’s true ‘Where there is a will there is a way’.
