Broadoaks Country House Wedding: Katy & Glynn
Katy and Glynn are one of the sweetest couples you could wish to meet, oh and not forgetting their two little boys who complete their family. Katy and Glynn decided to get married in the lake district, I love the lake district there really is something magical about it. Broadoaks country house hotel was the chosen venue in Troutbeck Windermere such a pretty venue. Ray and I travelled together as everything was happening in one place. So we went our separate ways Ray to spend time with Glynn and the boys, me to spend time with Katy and the girls.
The talented Kaye Hirst hair and make up artist was very busy.
The girls couldn’t wait to see Katy’s wedding dress.
Girls Girls Girls you were fantastic!
The obligatory bridesmaid wedding selfies. 🙂
Finishing touches By Kaye and a very nervous but excited Katy.
So while all the above was going on Ray was with the Boys.
Little Harry is so adorably cute!
Socks and shoes Harry making sure Daddy does it right.
Oh yes the heavens opened… but the party still goes on.
Clay pigeon shooting had been organised everyone who joined in loved it. Ray and I wished we could of had a go at this too.
So while the clay pigeon shooting was going on outside…. inside there was a massive family game of Pictionary going on and lots and lots of laughing.
The wedding breakfast set out very much like and afternoon tea party.
Katy’s mum made and decorated this stunning wedding cake.
After their meal it was time for the speeches.
Did I mention that Glynn had three best men who had everyone laughing and a couple of happy tears were shed too.
The novelty face masks went down a treat.
The staff at Broadoaks were brilliant after the meal and speeches they partitioned off part of the room so we could complete the photos we didn’t manage earlier due to the rain.
Now who needs sunshine when you have friends like these… totally unprovoked by me just spontaneous fun…. Perfect!
Grandma with all her Grand children what a lucky lady.
Now this is 4 photos joined together… I really didn’t know if it would work after quite a lot of photoshopping I think it’s not too bad. 🙂
Time for a bit of LOVE…. and fun!
Before we knew it …. it was time for the first dance.
We left everyone partying the night away. Thanks Katy and Glynn what an amazing day Kirsten & Ray. xx
