Finding Treasure
Well it’s no secret since I met Ray I now like a bit of a nosey around a few charity shops “looking for treasure”, my office is mainly kitted out from our local YMCA and I love it. So while Ray is looking for his treasure music and 40’s style clothes, I’m more of a furniture and nicknack person. A few weeks ago I found a watercolour painting of a local scene which I was quite taken with, priced only £2.99. The mount a muddy green with a thin dark wood effect frame, I knew this painting would look so much fresher if it was surrounded by white.
The before and after…. my little treasure an unsigned watercolour painting of Pendle hill which has been given a new lease of life, it will have pride of place on my office wall…. I wonder who painted it?
