Flower Power Thursday Bouvardia
This weeks flower is Bouvardia, thanks again to the lovely ladies from Voila Florist Clitheroe for providing the flowers for me to photograph. Bouvardia is another flower that would make a stunning and sophisticated wedding bouquet by using this flower on it’s own. Also it is equally as beautiful when mixed with other flowers and foliage for bouquets, buttonholes and arrangements. Bouvardia is delicately scented with loose clusters of tubular starlet shaped flowers, mainly available in white and various shades of pink. Bouvardia blooms for most of the year April to October and is native to Mexico and central America . I’ve added a few images to my Thursday Flower Power Pinterest board if you fancy popping over for a bit of inspiration for bouquet, buttonholes and arrangements.
I love this shade of pink
