Lake District Wedding Venues
So far over the next 12 months I have 3 lake district weddings which I’m very excited about. A couple of rainy Mondays ago I decide to visit all 3 with Ray, we took a packed lunch in hope of being able to sit by the lake and munch our sandwiches or may be we’d have to sit in the car…. but either way it didn’t matter it was still a day out of the office.

Ray and I decided to have a coffee before moving on to our next destination – Oscars Bar at Abbey House hotel was really worth a visit

The gardens beautifully maintained the boarders full of flowers quite a cottage garden feel

Time to move on to our next lake district destination Broadoaks Country house Hotel at Troutbeck in Windermere. Such a pretty venue, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. With so many pretty little archways an ornate gazebo for outdoor ceremonies oh and a swing too. We didn’t see too much of the inside as they were very busy… but their gardener was very helpful and gave permission to walk round the grounds 🙂
Last but certainly not least Cragwood Counrty House Hotel a romantic hotel with beautiful grounds and views of the Lakes. This was our last lake district venue visit on a rather drizzly Monday and staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and walking down to the lakeside where the is a little jetty and boat house.
I’m really looking forward to photographing at all of these venues, each with their own unique look and equally stunning in their own way. Even on a rainy Monday!
