To my bestie xx
15 years ago I photographed my first wedding (solo) at Mitton Hall.
On a day very much like today perhaps a little cooler and Jack frost had worked his wonders.
My Bestie and her hubby to be trusted me with their wedding day photography, it was their gift from me. At the time I had a canon 350D and a kit lens - I was lent a 50mm lens and a flash. I had no idea how to work the flash. I shot straight to jpeg I’d never heard of raw files. “That’s the techie bit over”
It was my absolute passion and determination that enabled me to document all the key moments and the little ones in-between. It wasn’t with out a hitch we lost the brides father he’d snuck off into the hotel and I found him sipping a coffee. Totally oblivious to the panic he had caused! Anyway all’s well that ends well, we manage to get all the photos done before the light faded.
Ps not only was I their photographer I was a bridesmaid too.. crazy but fun

Those smile’s say everything. Saturdays wedding was a joy to photograph. The setting was Stonyhurst St Peters church and then to Theodore house for the celebrations and an amazing Ceilidh which got every one dancing
