Occasionally I have the pleasure of stepping out of Lancashire in to Yorkshire for a wedding. I joined Sam and Mike for their wedding photography at York House in Malton on the outskirts of York. Such a pretty market town, I’d definitely visit again.
It was probably the warmest day in February that I have ever experienced. I met Mike and his groomsmen at the church in the centre of town. Then the boys nipped to the pub with a few guests for a quick pint. Returning to the church swiftly after to great and chat their guests as they arrived.
The Bridesmaids the first of the brides party arrived in a stunning classic car driven by the most eccentric chauffeur, her really looked the part. Sam arrived soon after with her father, we managed a few photos before the I do’s.
After a beautiful service we headed outside for a big confetti throw. I do love a good confetti throw! The venue was in walking distance from the church… very handy. While guests enjoyed canopies and drinks we did the couple photos in the grounds of the hotel.
The marquee in the grounds a perfect setting for this sunny Winter wedding. Speeches and then the meal which just happen to be served by a Gordon Ramsay look a like. Very hard to tell the difference he had all the mannerisms off to a tee.
The day flowed in to the evening with fabulous Mariachi band and DJ ensuring everyone was having a wonderful time… here’s the photos
The Boys and a few guest nipped for a quick pint at Chatpter Two
Sam and Mike decided to do their photos first while their guests enjoyed the canopies and drinks.
A little bit of Sam and Mikes personality showing through … love it.
Some more of that Sam and Mike cheekiness.
Special Guest Gordon Ramsay … lol.
